An Irish artist born in Dublin. He went with Herbert Stoppelaer to London where he painted portraits and miniatures. He exhibited at the Society of Artists 1760-1761. He was a good miniaturist and works by him are scarce. There is a miniature by him in the V & A Museum painted in 1737.
