Signed and dated: T Hickey 1774. Dimensions: 25cm x 23cm overall, image size 19cm x 17cm Additional Information: Thomas Hickey 1741-1824 From Dublin, he studied under West at Dublin Society Schools 1753-6. He moved to London and studied at the Royal Academy Schools 1771. He later worked in Bath and India. He was buried in Madras 1824. Represented: National Gallery of Ireland, Tate, British Museum, Government House, Madras. Exhibited: Royal Academy 1772-1792 and Dublin 1768-70. Price: £690 |
