George Engleheart 1808 Item Reference: 5211 A fine portrait miniature of Peter Cooper. He is wearing a dark blue jacket, white waistcoat and a white chemise and a frilled lace cravat. His dark curling hair is worn brushed forwards. The background is clouds and sky at sunset. Watercolour in an oval gold frame with plaited hair to reverse. The miniature is signed with a cursive E.
